Money that I don’t have

Ok, so… there are certain artists whose music I listen to all the time. Not literally. More like, every day.

For example, there are these two YouTube channels: JT Music and DAGames.

I have a few of their songs memorized. I play the songs in my head when I don’t have anything to do, such as when I’m standing at a bus stop, waiting for the bus. I also sing along to their songs in my free time, or when brushing my teeth or taking a shower.

I’m not saying that their songs are the only ones I sing along to or play while in the shower, of course. There are plenty other songs. It’s just that quite a few of them belong to these artists.

Anyways, what I’m getting at is: earlier today; maybe less than 2 hours ago, I found out that there is this event. This event at which you can meet these artists alongside other talented creators and such. Get to play some arcade games, eat pizza, and watch the Five Nights at Freddy’s film alongside other fans of the franchise and the artists.

So, at first I was really excited. Kind of knew that, like always, I’d probably not be able to go. Close to certainly. But I thought to myself: this time, it could be different.

Where there is a will, there is a way, and all that jazz. But the money.

The money to pay for the event tickets, the plane tickets and the hotel stays. It’s all just too much. And, mind you, I don’t even have a job.

So, of course, this will just be another event that I will miss.

But that’s okay. It’s nothing that important. As in, more if a want than a need.

It’d be cool to meet them, but that can always wait. And I’d have to get a job first. The special thing about having a source of income, is that you then have money to spend on whatever luxuries you want.

That is, if you earn enough.

Okay, my rant but no so rant is over.

Actually… it wasn’t really a rant. Just a thought I wanted to share; a memory I wanted to save.
