Why am I using a Picker Wheel?

Okay, so like I’ve mentioned before (I think), I have many games that I want to play, but there’s just so many of them, and because it’s so difficult for me to decide on one, I don’t decide on any.

At least I think so.

That might be the reason. Or it might be something else.

Going back to my reaction to Pokémon Violet being the game chosen: what I wrote as my initial reaction was “Wow. That’s cool. Really cool.” But then, soon afterwards, my opinion went from “Cool” to “Awesome”.

It’s perfect, really. The wheel has 322 different options. It only has… wow, that took a bit… 280 games on it though. The other 42 options are expansions, mods, demos, ports, DLCs, or whatever else there is. That is still quite a lot, I know… but the oldest one is from over 11 and a half years ago, so, you know.

This is the collection of games that I have been putting off for reasons mentioned in other posts. But back to the topic at hand:

Pokémon Violet might have been one of the best games chosen by that wheel because there are games I want to play less, or maybe don’t really want to play at all (I’ve excluded the ones I wouldn’t touch with a 10-feet pole). There are also games that I don’t even have on me – they are in another house.

So yeah, one of the best choices. And I actually kinda wanna play it (of course).

It’s a Pokémon game, which I love. And it’s the newest entry to the series. DLC for this game came out a few days ago, I believe. “The Teal Mask” is its name.

I haven’t yet watched a playthrough of the DLC, or even the main game itself. Yes, I’ve seen a few spoilers thanks to YouTube. And that sucks. But I still don’t know that much.

Before I started writing this post, I thought about how I might be one of those who prefers the older games or whatever. But I might have only thinking that because I am really far behind.

I mean, I haven’t yet played Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! which came out in 2018.

I haven’t yet played Pokémon Sword or Shield, which came out in 2019. I have seen a playthrough though. But not of the DLCs, only the main game.

The DLCs, “The Isle of Armor” and “The Crown Tundra” came out in 2020. Haven’t played these either

I haven’t yet played Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pear-

Okay, never mind. The newest main series Pokémon title I’ve completed is Ultra Sun, which came out at the end of 2017.

I just didn’t get a Nintendo Switch until the start of this year. And have put off playing those games. For some reason.

Anyways, it’s past midnight. I’ll probably play Violet in the morning… or afternoon.

Oh yeah. The Picker Wheel’s purpose. The Wheel is supposed to get me to at least try all the games. When the Wheel selects a game, that has to be the next game I play. Unless I can’t for some reason. And I might also play another game, but only if it’s because of something like a daily event, or just an event.

But yeah, for the Wheel to choose Pokémon Violet from 322 different options. Perfect.

Thank you for reading, and have a nice day.
